One of Barbados’ most iconic events, the Crop Over Festival, traces its roots back to the 18th century when sugar cane harvests were celebrated. Today, it’s a spectacular extravaganza lasting several months, culminating in the Grand Kadooment Day in early August. Visitors can enjoy calypso music, colourful costumes, craft markets, and street parties throughout the festival.
